Wildscreen

Wildscreen encourages and celebrates the production of conservationist storytelling through natural history films and television

For Wildscreen, Mentor developed a website which uses image-led design to showcase their wildlife photography and footage. The new website is easily customisable through the 'Mentor Web Blocks' system in the CMS and hosts a substantial level of image and video content. Our custom built, advanced, open source visual editing interface for Umbraco provides Wildscreen's content editing team with a catalogue of building blocks with the flexibility to create lots of different layouts and customised pages, plus a handy drag and drop feature.

  • Design & build of a major conferencing website
  • Development of a mobile scheduling App
  • Drag & drop page builder
  • Events booking system integration

Films and photographs are major elements in the battle to protect our imperilled natural world. Wildscreen work with the best photographers and filmmakers to help promote conservation. They are the best at what they do and all their initiatives reflect this.

Wildscreen are a major events and conferencing website. To enable Wildscreen to sell tickets to their events through their website, Mentor created a “What’s On” events listings functionality which is fully customisable with filtering, grid and list view options, bookings link through to the third party booking engine 'EventBrite'.

When Wildscreen are not busy running the annual Wildscreen Festival, they work with other individuals and organisations to produce events, smaller festivals, exhibitions and competitions. To help them manage their active calendar we integrated with 'Sched', an interactive and responsive scheduling tool which allow Wildscreen to easily organise and manage ongoing events, speakers and attendees.
