Mentor Digital has been WWU’s digital partner since 2015. After WWU completed a rebrand, Mentor worked to update the branding across their flagship website, moving towards a more modern and accessible brand identity. Mentor delivered:
- Auditing of the content on the website, focusing the rollout on the most important user journeys.
- Creation of a suite of newly designed components incorporating new imagery and illustration throughout.
- Design and development of a new look hero banner incorporating new brand elements.
- Optimisation of header and footer navigation.
- Content loading the site with the rebranded components.
Wales & West Utilities have benefited from years of support from Mentor, so when it came to rebranding our website, we knew we were in safe hands.
Our approach
Collaborating across the creative, development, delivery and digital marketing teams, Mentor split the roll out into sprints focusing firstly on the main landing pages and global changes, moving to key content pages and then finalising with any remaining components from lower level pages to allow for a gradual rollout on the existing website.
The new look website is a significant change to aid its user experience and will be the first step as part of ongoing updates to the site. We are now looking at auditing the accessibility on the site to make further improvements and roll out the branding further.
