As RAC Business's website was already built in the Umbraco framework when they asked for our support, we carried out an Umbraco takeover. This involved taking over the management and support of the existing website.
The first part of this process was to complete a full code review to ensure that any pre-existing bugs were found and fixed ahead of moving the site across. Once we had completed this audit phase, we were able to implement our support service and begin improving the user journey and design. This involved;
- UX tracking
- Optimising user journeys
- Day to day support & maintenance
What we did
As well as our daily critical support service offering, we also implemented a monthly retainer with RAC Business that allows us to continue improving the user journeys on the site.
Under this retainer agreement, our team can track, analyse and report on user behaviours and provide information about how customers are interacting with offers. This ensures that we can constantly strive to make the site run more efficiently.
Following this research, we have implemented a large number of changes on the site to encourage users to click through to the booking journey and gather more information on the options available depending on different fleet sizes and vehicles.
