Clifton College wanted a new website site that would offer a compelling user journey across multiple devices, be fun and interactive and have a streamlined admissions process.

We were also approached to build a secure parents portal for pupils and their parents to keep up to date with latest house and year group news and announcements.
An important requirement of this area was to customise and simplify the Umbraco CMS to make it quick and comprehensive for house masters and teachers to provide regular content updates. This included building specific CMS user groups so that content editors could only see and edit their own pages.
We worked very closely with Clifton College and their key stakeholders during the planning stages of the website. Our project management team hosted a series of on-site stakeholder engagement workshops with students, parents and staff, in order to identify requirements, discuss specific user journeys and get an understanding of the intended site structure and messaging.

We also successfully simplified the Umbraco CMS and trained some 20+ teachers and house masters how to populate their custom built content areas which included image galleries, news and blog articles and general announcements. These pages not only saw great engagement with the pupils and parents but also with the teachers and house masters generating the content which positively demonstrates the simplicity of the system.
