Mentor was tasked with creating a unique and inspiring two and a half minute promotional video to encourage children from both overseas and within the UK to enrol. At Mentor we always seek to develop an engaging concept that provides strong visual interest, helping to convey the message. Our artists and producers storyboarded and scripted the video, as well as recording the voiceover. To create a sense of excitement we added a dynamic spin by utilising interesting cinematic transitions to move between scenes. These pacey shifts in perspective include split scenes, children going through one door and coming out elsewhere, travelling through noticeboards, microscopes and pool table pockets. We even incorporated some animation using a chalkboard graphic style to illustrate possible school trips.
